G'day, I'm Tony. Licensed electrical contractor EC 9715.

I've been sorting electrical jobs around Mandurah and the Peel side of the coast for longer than I care to admit. Long enough to know the difference between a quick fix and a job that's been patched three times already and is now asking for dramas.

Mandurah's its own beast

You've got older homes in Falcon, Silver Sands and Coodanup with switchboards that were never built for modern loads. You've got canal places around Halls Head, Erskine and Wannanup where outdoor lighting, pontoon power and salt air all come into play. Then you've got retirees and long-term owner-occupiers who want the work explained properly, done cleanly, and left safe.

That's the sort of work I like.

No franchise waffle. No "our licensed electricians" nonsense. It's my licence on the line, my name on the paperwork, and my job to make sure the work is safe, tidy and signed off properly.

What EC 9715 means

EC 9715 is my WA electrical contractor licence, issued by WA Building & Energy.

It means I'm the licensed contractor responsible for the work carried out under this business. Proper licensing. Proper insurance. Real accountability. If something needs explaining, quoting or signing off, you're dealing with the bloke whose licence is attached to the job — not a call centre and not some mystery subbie.

Why I work this patch

I like Mandurah because the jobs are varied and the people are straight shooters.

One day it's smoke alarms in a rental near the foreshore. Next day it's fault finding in Dawesville after a storm. Then it's extra outdoor power for an entertaining area in Halls Head, or raising a few power points for an older homeowner in Erskine who is sick of crawling around skirting boards.

The sort of jobs that keep the lights on and the aircon running.
